Hind Dekker-Abdulaziz is a Dutch politician of Democrats 66 (D66), a member of the Digital Affairs committee, and a member of the House of Representatives since 2022.
It has been more than twenty years since Hind arrived in the Netherlands as a refugee, from Baghdad where she was born. She is keen on issues such as visibility of women in policy making, and institutional racism specific to the Netherlands. By becoming politically active, she believes she would be able to contribute more.
