Lisa van Ginneken is a Dutch politician of Democrats 66 (D66), and a member of the Digital Affairs committee. Prior to politics, she worked as a software developer among other things, and is experienced as an IT professional. She became a member of the House of Representatives after the 2021 general election, a position in which she is committed to topics such as digital transparency.
Van Ginneken is the first transgender person to be elected into the Dutch House of Representatives. She cites her experience of transitioning as her motivation in getting involved in politics, and is committed to representing the interests, as well as promoting visibility and equal opportunities for the transgender community and other minorities.
